Bio
I’ve spent over a decade working across the music industry, with a focus on artist development, release strategy, and long-term career planning. Through my work with J. Culture Management, I’ve supported artists across releases, live performances, and overall career direction, always with the goal of building something sustainable, not just something that looks good in the moment.
Before stepping fully into music, I spent years working in tech and digital operations. That background shaped how I approach management today. I think in systems, structure, and long-term strategy, but I also understand that artists aren’t systems. They’re people.
That’s where The Mindful Artist Manager comes in.
It’s a space where I explore the human side of the music business. The decisions, the pressure, the relationships, and the internal conflicts that don’t always get talked about, but impact everything.
Who We Are & What We Believe In
The Mindful Artist Manager is a mission-driven community and educational organization centered around helping independent music professionals build healthier, more sustainable careers. We believe that success in the music industry should not require sacrificing emotional well-being, identity, relationships, or long-term stability, and that artists and managers deserve spaces where they can grow both professionally and personally.
We believe emotional intelligence, resilience, ethical leadership, and human-centered collaboration are essential skills within modern music careers. Rather than promoting transactional networking, burnout culture, or unrealistic expectations of success, the community encourages thoughtful decision-making, self-awareness, accountability, and genuine connection between people navigating the music industry together.
At our core, we believe music professionals can still be ambitious, driven, and successful while remaining grounded, mindful, and supportive of one another. The community exists to help normalize a healthier, more sustainable culture within independent music ecosystems, particularly in electronic music and artist management.

What Our Work Is Built On
By combining artist management practices, project management, and an advocacy of emotional intelligence to support our mental health, we’ve developed our four pillars of success: Resilience, Relationships, Strategy, and Community.
Resilience
Developing and sustaining resilience is key to pushing through difficult times and hardships, and, more often than not, that requires looking within ourselves to make these changes. By using emotional intelligence, we’ll be able to more easily build resilience to sustain ourselves in our music careers.
Relationships
In the music industry, opportunities move within the people we meet & the chances we take. It’s often too easy to overlook that each person we meet is just a regular human being with emotions and a rich life of passions & interests like ours. By using emotional intelligence, we’ll better prepare to forge genuine relationships and interactions so that we can keep our opportunities for success within our circles.
Strategy
With our own obstacles or the challenges of working with people aside, the weight of your success depends heavily on how well you prepare & execute your career plans. By using artist management practices, we’ll better understand the whys and hows of the business side of the industry and stay focused on being intentional with our goals.
Community
No one person can find success alone in the music industry, no matter how ‘independent’ we are. We strive to put everyone we work with into collaborative environments so that we can continue to push ourselves & each other to keep the community full of music and passionate, active professionals.
